The Fastest Ways to Earn XP on UptoSkills
Every XP source on UptoSkills ranked by how much it actually pays for the time it takes — from the single biggest payout (an AI interview or assessment tied to a League) down to the small, steady stuff.
Updated 23 Oct 2026
Short answer: The single best way to earn XP fast is claiming it on an AI interview or AI assessment tied to a League — up to 1,500 XP in about 15 minutes, or up to 1,000 XP in about 20. Everything else is steadier but slower. Here's every source, ranked.
1. AI Interview / AI Assessment claims — the best way to earn XP fast

| Pays | Takes about | |
|---|---|---|
| AI Interview | Up to 1,500 XP (350 floor, scales with score) | 15 minutes |
| AI Assessment | Up to 1,000 XP (250 floor, scales with score) | 20 minutes |
Open it from inside any League you're enrolled in — look for AI Interview Practice or AI Assessment Practice in the sidebar. One strong pair of sessions is up to 2,500 XP in well under an hour — more than most people earn from 30-50 regular lessons. Full details, the exact formula and the fairness rules (you need some real progress in that League first) are in the dedicated guide.
Free plan: 1 trial each. Pro: 5 of each included, plus the option to buy more.
2. Weekly Challenges — the best steady option
50-160 XP per challenge (Pro only), things like finishing a set number of lessons or modules in a week, or keeping a perfect quiz streak. Lower per-session than an AI claim, but it stacks on top of lessons you're doing anyway.
3. Daily Challenges
20-30 XP, every day, for small wins — completing a lesson, a quiz, a module, scoring well on an assessment question. Quick, repeatable, resets daily.
4. Lessons and their quizzes
A flat 5 XP just for finishing a lesson, plus a quiz bonus that scales with your score — typically in the 3-25 XP range, occasionally higher on a strong run. Small per lesson, but it's the XP that's always there, and it's what unlocks everything else (a League needs real lesson progress before an AI claim on it pays anything).
5. Achievements and badges
One-off, not repeatable — but some pay well. Legendary achievements like XP God, Learning Legend or Lesson Titan pay up to 2,000 XP the single time you unlock them. Worth checking the achievement tracker for which ones you're close to.
6. Arena problems
10-150 XP depending on whether it's a daily, weekly or monthly problem and its difficulty (easy/medium/hard) — see the Arena XP guide for the full table. Smaller than an AI claim, but it also pays Aura, and the practice library is always open.
7. Streak bonuses
A small bonus (around 20 XP) for your first on-time activity of the day once you have a streak going, plus milestone badges at 7/14/30/50/100 days. Not a grind lever on its own, but it compounds with everything above since it's automatic.
Putting it together: a realistic fast session
- Open a League you already have a few lessons into.
- Run the assessment, then the interview, and claim both — up to 2,500 XP, under an hour.
- Knock out that day's Daily Challenge while you're in there — another 20-30 XP for a couple of minutes' work.
- If it's Pro and a Weekly Challenge is close to done, finish it too.
That single sitting can realistically clear 2,500-2,700 XP — more than a typical week of lesson-only grinding.
Common questions
What's the single biggest XP source?
An AI interview claim, at up to 1,500 XP in about 15 minutes. Nothing else comes close per minute.
Do I need Pro for any of this?
No — AI interviews/assessments, lessons, Daily Challenges, Achievements and Arena are all available free (at smaller limits). Weekly Challenges and extra AI credits are Pro-only.
Is there a limit on how much AI-claim XP I can earn?
Yes — it needs real progress in that League first, at most 2 interview and 2 assessment claims per League pay XP each week, and there's a combined monthly cap. None of this affects normal use; see the full guide for the numbers.
