Big XP From AI Interviews and Assessments: How League-Tied Practice Pays

Run an AI interview or AI assessment tied to a League and it pays a one-off XP reward on top of your lessons -- up to 1,500 XP for an interview, up to 1,000 for an assessment. Here's exactly how it's calculated, and the rules that keep it fair for everyone.

Updated 23 Oct 2026

Short answer: Open an AI interview or AI assessment from inside a League's practice tab, finish it, and claim the XP — it pays a large one-off reward on top of everything you earn from lessons, scaled by how well you did. An interview pays up to 1,500 XP; an assessment pays up to 1,000 XP. One strong session can out-earn a week of regular lessons.

Where to find it

Open any League you're enrolled in and look for AI Interview Practice or AI Assessment Practice in its sidebar. Both are built from that specific League, so the questions match what you've actually been learning.

How the XP is worked out

Starting XPScales up toFull marks pays
AI Interview350+1,150 more as your interview score rises1,500 XP
AI Assessment250+750 more as your score rises1,000 XP

So a middling 50% score still banks you roughly half the ceiling, and your best sessions pay the most. This counts toward both your League's leaderboard and the global Hall of Fame — it's real XP, not a separate side currency.

Why this is worth doing early

  • It's fast. An interview takes about 15 minutes, an assessment about 20 — a fraction of the time a comparable amount of lesson XP would take.
  • It gives you something lessons don't: a scored report showing exactly where you lost marks, which doubles as real interview prep.
  • Pro gets more of it. 5 AI assessments and 5 AI interviews included with Pro, versus 1 free trial each on the free plan — and you can buy extra credits any time.

The rules that keep it fair

This reward is generous, so a few guardrails make sure it rewards actually learning a League rather than skipping straight to the payout:

RuleWhat it means
Real progress requiredYou need more than 5% lesson progress in that specific League before a session tied to it pays any XP. Open a few lessons first.
Per-League weekly limitAt most 2 interview claims and 2 assessment claims on the same League count for XP in a week. Extra sessions still give you the report — just no extra XP until next week.
Monthly capUp to 80,000 XP total from AI interview and assessment claims combined, per month. Past that, further claims still complete, just without XP until the next calendar month.

None of this stops honest practice — it's aimed squarely at claiming the reward on Leagues you've never actually opened. Work through a League normally, and you'll never come close to any of these limits.

A realistic plan

  1. Pick a League you're already a few lessons into.
  2. Run the assessment first — it tells you what to focus on.
  3. Close the gaps it found with a few more lessons.
  4. Run the interview to rehearse explaining what you now know out loud.
  5. Claim both. On a strong pair of sessions that's up to 2,500 XP from roughly 35 minutes of work.

Common questions

Do I need to finish the whole League first?

No — just more than 5% progress. You can claim well before you're done, then claim again on a different League once you've made progress there too.

Can I do this more than twice a week on the same League?

You can run more sessions, but only the first 2 interview claims and first 2 assessment claims on that League pay XP each week.

What happens once I hit the monthly cap?

Sessions still complete and you still get your scored report — you just won't see additional XP from this source until the cap resets with the new month. Everything else (coins, achievements, lesson XP) is unaffected.

Does this count toward the Pro Rewards Track or the Hall of Fame?

Yes — it's ordinary XP, so it counts everywhere XP counts.
