1. Acceptance of Terms

UptoSkills is a software platform operated by UptoSkills. ("UptoSkills", "we", "us", "our"), providing products and services to students, college faculty and colleges, and HR teams/companies. By creating an account or otherwise using the UptoSkills website, mobile experience, or any related service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Description of Services

UptoSkills provides, depending on your account type:

• For Students: a free "Rookie" tier and a paid "Pro" subscription, AI-based assessments and interviews, Learn & Earn leagues, the Aura points shop, Pro Rewards, and a referral program with a real-money wallet.
• For Faculty/Colleges: campus collaboration tools, event creation, and a coin-based credit system used to unlock premium event/hosting features.
• For HR/Companies: hiring and candidate assessment tools, and a coin-based credit system used to unlock job postings and related features.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

• You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account, or have the consent of a parent/guardian.
• You agree to provide accurate registration information (name, email, phone, and where applicable, college/company affiliation) and to keep it up to date.
• Each individual may hold only one account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. Payments & Pricing

• All payments are processed securely through Razorpay in Indian Rupees (INR). UptoSkills does not store your raw card details.
• Subscriptions and coin packs are one-time purchases valid for a fixed duration or quota. They do not auto-renew and will not be re-charged automatically.
• Prices and plans displayed at the time of purchase apply to that transaction. UptoSkills may change pricing or plans for future purchases at any time; this will not retroactively affect a subscription or credit pack you already bought.
• Please review our Cancellation & Refunds Policy before purchasing — most purchases are final.

5. Pro Rewards — Prize Terms

• Pro Rewards is a skill-based leaderboard program available exclusively to active Pro subscribers, based on performance in Learn & Earn leagues.
• Weekly/monthly prizes are a combination of cash, paid out via UPI or bank transfer, and physical goodies shipped to winners; combined value is reflected in reward figures shown on the platform.
• Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), where applicable under the Income Tax Act, 1961, is deducted before cash prizes are disbursed. Winners remain responsible for their own tax reporting obligations.
• Leaderboard rankings, winner selection, and eligibility determinations made by UptoSkills are final. UptoSkills reserves the right to disqualify entries obtained through fraud, collusion, or violation of these Terms, and to substitute a prize of comparable value where circumstances require.

6. Aura Shop, Goodies & Partner Rewards

• Aura points are earned in-platform and may be redeemed for cosmetic profile items (which are purely digital) or physical goodies (which are shipped to your registered address). Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Goodies may also be provided to Pro Rewards weekly winners and to partners under the Partner-With-Us program. You are responsible for providing an accurate, deliverable shipping address — see our Shipping Policy for delivery terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The UptoSkills platform, including its software, design, branding, and assessment content, is the property of UptoSkills and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any part of the platform without our prior written permission.

8. User-Generated Content

Where you submit content such as reviews, comments, or profile information, you grant UptoSkills a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce that content solely for operating, promoting, and improving the platform. You retain ownership of your content and may request its removal by contacting us, subject to any record-keeping we are legally required to retain.

8.1 Display of recent purchases

If you purchase a paid plan, we may indicate on our pricing pages that a recent purchase took place. Where we do this we show only your given name, the first letter of your surname, and roughly how long ago the purchase occurred — for example, "Abhishek M. went Pro · 40m ago". We never publish your surname in full, your email address, your phone number, your photograph, your city, or the amount you paid, and we do not display purchases in any way that identifies which plan price you were charged.

You may opt out of appearing at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Purchase display opt-out". We will remove you from this display and it will have no effect on your subscription, your billing, or any feature available to you.

9. Third-Party Links, Warranties & Liability

Our platform may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as Razorpay for payments). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites.

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep the platform accurate and reliable, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UptoSkills and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian consumer protection law.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the grievance redressal process below, the courts located in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform.

Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to first raise the issue with our support team so we can attempt to resolve it informally.

UptoSkills may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
