How to Apply for Jobs and Internships on UptoSkills
Apply to jobs and internships free, then track every application, interview invitation and offer from one place.

Short answer: Browse roles from the Jobs menu at the top, apply in a couple of clicks, and every application then appears under My Jobs or My Internships with its current stage. Applying is free.

Finding roles
The Jobs menu in the top bar covers job listings, internships and job fairs. Roles span IT and computer science, technical and engineering, sales and marketing, and banking and e-commerce.
🎪 Job fairs are worth a look. Several employers take applications in the same round, so one application round puts your profile in front of multiple companies.
Tracking what you applied to
My Jobs and My Internships list everything you have applied to. Filter by job title, company or location to find a specific one quickly.

Each application carries a stage — Applied, and onward through the employer's pipeline to Offer Letter Sent. Those stages are set by the employer, so they move without you doing anything.
Interview invitations

When an employer schedules you, it appears under My Interviews with the role, company, date, time, format and confirmation status. Virtual interviews are joined from the same screen.
📅 Check this page whenever your sidebar shows a notification badge. A missed invitation is the most expensive thing you can miss on the platform.
Getting shortlisted more often
- Profile to 100%. Incomplete profiles get filtered out before a human ever sees them
- Make your profile public so recruiters can find you rather than waiting for you to apply
- Upload a real resume — the resume builder has ATS-friendly templates
- Practise first. A free AI mock interview before a real one is the cheapest preparation available
- Get a certificate. A completed League with a certificate is evidence, not a claim
Does applying cost anything?
No. Browsing and applying to jobs and internships is free, and you will never be asked to pay to apply for a role.
Why has my application not moved?
Stages are updated by the employer on their own schedule. Applied simply means it is submitted and waiting. There is nothing to fix on your side.
Can my college see my applications?
If a faculty member invited you to their College Hub, your placement cell can see your application activity and outcomes — which is how they run campus placements and report on them.
How many jobs can I apply to?
There is no cap. Targeted applications to roles you actually match beat volume, though.
What is the difference between a job and an internship here?
They are tracked separately, in My Jobs and My Internships, because their stages and stipend ranges differ. Both are applied to the same way.
