AMD is looking for an outstanding technical leader to drive performance of AMD EPYC Server processors to the next level. Performance analysis of cloud, enterprise, HPC and Machine Learning workloads.
Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Characterization, tuning and optimization of power and performance for Cloud, Enterprise, HPC/ML/AI workloads.
- Come up with micro-architecural, and software/ firmware enhancements to improve performance and power efficiency of AMD CPUs on customer applications - working with AMDs compiler, kernel, firmware and Core/Fabric design teams.
- System and micro-architecture level perfromance debugs and resolve silicon-level performance and power observations/discrepancies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with presilicon teams to project performance of next gen silicon and evaluate and debug silicon measured vs expected performance gaps.
