Job Description
At Amazon, this role supports the Alexa Sensitive Content Intelligence team by designing and building scalable, real-time data platforms that power content moderation, analytics, and reporting systems. You’ll architect AWS-based pipelines, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, automate data processes, and deliver high-availability, secure solutions using technologies like Spark, Redshift, Kinesis, SQL, and Python.
Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data infrastructure and real-time data pipelines at Amazon Develop next-generation BI and streaming data applications
- Architect AWS-based ETL systems using Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, and Lambda Support sensitive-content detection platforms for Alexa devices Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple internal and external sources Automate reporting and analytics workflows for self-service insights Improve system reliability, security compliance, and availability
- Review designs and code from peers; mentor junior engineers Lead technical initiatives that replace manual processes and support global scaling
