Job Description
The CSIR Smart Village Mission Mode Project (2025-28), launched by CSIR-CBRI Roorkee in Sawaipura, Rajasthan, aims to transform rural areas into self-reliant, sustainable, and resilient communities. This initiative leverages science-led, indigenous technologies from 14 CSIR labs to address local needs in energy, water, agriculture, and housing, focusing on enhancing quality of life.
Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct baseline and socio-economic surveys and assist in data analysis
- Facilitate community participation and social inclusion in planning and implementation
- Coordinate with local panchayats, technical teams and project partners
- Document project progress through reports, case studies and social impact assessments
- Proficiency in MS Office, data collection tools frequency in local language/Hindi and English
