🔧 Role: Design & Development Engineer
We are looking for dynamic Mechanical Engineers with hands-on experience or strong fundamentals in sheet metal design and automotive components.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
- Design & develop sheet metal components as per OEM requirements (MSIL / Escorts Kubota)
- Interpret 2D drawings & CAD data (CATIA / NX / AutoCAD)
- Perform feasibility analysis (DFM / DFA)
- Develop tooling concepts (press tools, dies, welding fixtures)
- Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis
- Coordinate with tool room, production & quality teams
- Support NPD activities (APQP process)
- Manage design validation & engineering changes (ECN/ECR)
- Drive VA/VE (cost optimization) initiatives
- Participate in customer discussions & design reviews
- Support PPAP submissions
