Job Description
We are offering an internship opportunity for the position of Intern – Space-Based Solar Power (SBSP) Prototype Development under the project titled "Low-Power Microwave-Based Space-Based Solar Power Demonstration Prototype." A total of 06 interns will be selected to participate in this project. The internship will be conducted in a laboratory-based educational prototype environment, providing practical exposure to research and prototype development activities. The duration of the internship will be as per the internship schedule, and the work will be carried out in a research and laboratory environment focused on innovation, experimentation, and technical learning.
Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature review on Space-Based Solar Power (SBSP)
- Study microwave wireless power transmission concepts
- Design and develop low-power transmitter sections
- Assist in designing rectenna receiver circuits
- Perform RF-to-DC conversion testing and validation
- Measure voltage, current, and power parameters
- Conduct distance and alignment-based performance testing
- Support prototype fabrication and model preparation
- Perform data analysis and generate performance graphs
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation
- Collaborate with team members on final prototype integration
