How to Use the Global Community on UptoSkills

The Global Community on UptoSkills is a shared discussion space where learners, event participants, and professionals come together to exchange ideas, form teams, and discuss hackathons, competitions, and events happening across the platform.

Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Log in to Your UptoSkills Account

Visit the UptoSkills website and log in using your registered credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Global Community

From the main menu, go to:

Compete → Support & Resources → Global Community

This will take you to the Global Discussion page.

Step 3: Read the Welcome Message & Community Guidelines

On the Global Community page, you will see a welcome message explaining the purpose of the space.

Following the community guidelines helps keep the community safe, useful, and welcoming for everyone.

Step 4: Create a New Discussion Post

To start a conversation:

• Your post must be at least 10 characters and no more than 1000 characters
• Select the most relevant category for your post

Available categories include:

• Event Discussion
• Team Formation
• Event Tips & Tricks
• Event Announcements
• Event Results & Winners
• Event Help & Support

Choosing the correct category helps others find and engage with your post easily.

Step 5: View and Filter Global Discussions

Once your post is submitted, it will appear under the Global Discussions section.

You can:

• Filter discussions by category
• Sort discussions by Recent or Popular

When sorted by Popular, posts with the highest engagement will appear at the top.

• Staying updated on event announcements and results
• Getting help and support from the community
