How to Use Event Communities on UptoSkills

Event Communities on UptoSkills allow you to connect with fellow learners, participants, and mentors through discussions related to hackathons, events, and competitions. You can ask questions, share insights, and learn from active community members—all in one place.

Follow the steps below to explore and participate in Event Communities.

Step 1: Log in to Your UptoSkills Account

Visit the UptoSkills website and log in using your registered email ID and password.

Step 2: Navigate to Event Communities

From the main menu, go to:

Compete → Support & Resources → Event Communities

This will take you to the Event Communities page where all event-related discussions are available.

Step 3: Explore Events

On the Event Communities page, you can discover events in multiple ways:

• Use the All Types or Hackathon filter to search for specific events
• Browse through the event cards displayed in rows
• Use the left and right arrows to scroll and view more events

Step 4: Open an Event Community

Under the Most Active Events section, click on any event to open its community page.

Here, you can view discussions related to that specific event.

Step 5: View and Participate in Discussions

Inside an event community, you can:

• View discussions posted by other users
• Sort discussions by Recent or Popular
• Add your own comments, questions, or insights

Comments that receive the highest number of likes are marked as Most Popular, making valuable discussions easy to find.

Step 6: Explore Recent Discussions Across All Events

Below the event listings, the Recent Discussions section displays comments from all available events on the platform.

You can:

• Sort comments by Recent or Popular
• Quickly discover trending discussions across multiple events

When sorted by Popular, the comments with the highest likes appear at the top.
