How to Prepare for Campus Placements in 30 Days (Free Plan for Indian Students)

A week-by-week plan using free AI assessments, free courses and mock interviews. Find your gaps, fix them, then practise explaining yourself out loud.

Short answer: Diagnose first, study second, rehearse third. Most students do it in the opposite order and run out of time. Here is a 30-day plan you can run almost entirely for free.

🗓️ This plan assumes about an hour a day. Leagues are built for 10-minute bursts on a phone, so you can do most of it between classes.

Week 1 — Find out what you actually do not know

Do not open a single tutorial yet. Start by measuring.

  1. Run a free AI Assessment in your core subject — Python, DSA, SQL, whatever your target role tests
  2. Read the report properly. Note the topics you failed, not the score
  3. Write those weak topics down. That list is your syllabus for the next three weeks

Also this week: use your free AI mock interview early, not at the end. Doing it now while you are still bad is the point — it shows you what to work on while there is time to fix it.

Week 2 — Close the biggest gaps

Take the Leagues that cover your weak topics. All of them are free, and there are 50+ to pick from — 39 at beginner level.

Coding basicsPython, Java, JavaScript, C++
DSA / problem solvingData Structures, Algorithms
Web rolesWeb Development, Backend Development

Security rolesCybersecurity, Networking

Week 3 — Prove it and build the resume line

Finish at least one League fully. Two things happen:

  • You have actually learned the topic end to end, not skimmed a playlist
  • You can claim a QR-verifiable certificate — ₹499, or ₹199 on Pro, with a printed copy posted to you free anywhere in India

A certificate a recruiter can scan and verify beats a screenshot of a course completion page.

💰 Cheapest route: Pro is ₹199 for 3 months and drops certificates to ₹199, so Pro + certificate = ₹398, less than the ₹499 certificate alone. See the price breakdown.

Week 4 — Rehearse out loud

Knowing the answer and saying the answer are different skills. This is the week most people skip and then freeze in the room.

  1. Run AI mock interviews at your real experience level
  2. Upload your resume so the AI asks about your own projects — this is what real interviewers do
  3. Practise saying "I do not know, but here is how I would find out" — it is a strong answer, and you need to have said it before
  4. Do a final interview two days before the real one. Not the night before
🎤 Pro gives you 5 interviews and 5 assessments, which is roughly what this plan needs in weeks 1 and 4.

Mistakes that cost people offers

  • Studying without diagnosing. You revise what is comfortable, not what is weak
  • Only reading. You cannot read your way to an interview answer
  • Saving mock interviews for the end. Feedback is only useful if there is time to act on it
  • A resume you cannot defend. If it is on your CV, expect a question about it
  • Ignoring communication rounds. Plenty of technically strong freshers lose here

Common questions

Can I really do this for free?

Almost all of it. Every League is free, plus one free assessment and one free interview. Only the certificate is paid, and it is optional.

I only have two weeks. What do I cut?

Keep Week 1 and Week 4. Diagnosing and rehearsing matter more than extra content.

Is 30 days enough?

To fix specific gaps and get interview-fluent, yes. To learn a whole field from zero, no — start earlier.
