Government Polytechnic, Chhota Udepur was established in the year 1994 with the vision of providing quality technical education to students from tribal and rural regions of Gujarat. The institute functions under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Gujarat, and is affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University (GTU). Since its inception, the institute has been dedicated to producing skilled diploma engineers who contribute effectively to industry and society. Presently, the institute offers four diploma engineering programs, namely: Automobile Engineering Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering The institute has a well-qualified faculty team, modern laboratories, and adequate infrastructure to support quality teaching-learning and skill-based training. Emphasis is placed on practical knowledge, industry interaction, and holistic student development. Government Polytechnic, Chhota Udepur continues to strive for excellence in technical education through Outcome-Based Education (OBE), NBA accreditation initiatives, and active participation in skill development and entrepreneurship programs.
