About the Competition
The Cloud Computing Hackathon is a high-impact innovation event designed to challenge participants to build, deploy, and optimize real-world solutions using modern cloud technologies. This hackathon brings together developers, cloud enthusiasts, and problem solvers to showcase their skills in designing scalable infrastructures, deploying cloud-native applications, and implementing secure, cost-efficient cloud solutions.
Participants will work in teams to tackle industry-relevant challenges that reflect real cloud environments, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and automation. The event encourages creativity, hands-on learning, and collaboration while providing exposure to best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps workflows.
By the end of the hackathon, teams will present their solutions to a panel of evaluators, gaining valuable experience, recognition, and the opportunity to demonstrate their cloud expertise in a competitive and professional setting.

Challenges
Challenge 1: Scalable Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Participants will design and deploy a highly scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure capable of handling variable workloads. The challenge focuses on implementing core cloud concepts such as auto-scaling, load balancing, high availability, and disaster recovery. Teams must ensure reliability while minimizing operational costs and maintaining best security practices.
Challenge 2: Cloud-Native Application Deployment
In this challenge, teams will build and deploy a cloud-native web application using modern deployment practices. The application should leverage containers or managed cloud services, follow microservices principles, and support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD). Emphasis is placed on performance, fault tolerance, and seamless updates without downtime.
